Pepkor is a multi-billion dollar retailer focused on growth with a diverse portfolio of brands operating on four continents. Sorbet

Sorbet Beauty Salons have grown to be every city gal's (and guy's) answer to feeling fabulous.  Their fresh and professional approach to beauty for the modern day woman and gent has evolved to a guest-following of over 170 000 loyalty members - and counting.

Members of the study tour were particularly intrigued by the strength and opportunities in the male grooming market.  Initially shocked the thought of facials, Sorbet CEO won them over and  we might see some of the group investing in the male market.

Tea Merchant

The Tea Merchant assistants made specific recommendations on tea ranges to be served both privately and engaged us all by recounting the history and source of each tea blend.

The Platinum Group

The Platinum Group is a retail and design house in the premier shopping centre. The group visited 4 stores, which  are all run by carefully selected young 'business partners' who have the equivalent of a franchise, without having to invest the huge amounts of capital normally required.  The store designs were unique and fitted so well with their brands.

Cresta Shopping Centre

Since 1976 the Centre has changed beyond all recognition.  From being a large community centre in bygone days, Cresta has emerged into a regional shopping destination.  The study tour was treated to a rendition of Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’ at the BarnYard Theatre.  It’s clear that the popular dining and entertainment venue is a destination for party goers, bringing more shoppers to the shopping centre.
