New speaker announcement: Laurent Fabius, French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development and Former Prime Minister

World Retail Congress is delighted to announce that M. Fabius, French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development and Former Prime Minister will be giving the welcome address at this year’s World Retail Congress in Paris. M. Fabius will be offering his thoughts on the progress of the retail industry in France and beyond, considering its value as an important contributor to economic growth and support in developing consumer confidence. Within the context of the Congress’ theme ‘Retailing in an era of disruption’ M. Fabius will be discussing the phenomenal pace of change of technology considering the how this is fundamentally changing the way in which retailers and consumers interact. He will also share, from a ministerial perspective, his thoughts on the future of the industry in the context of global economic development.

M. Fabius will be speaking at 10.00 Monday 29 September at this year’s World Retail Congress in Paris.
